How to build your own leaderboards

How to create your own class leaderboards

As a teacher, you can build your own leaderboard that ranks learners according to number of exercises that they have completed and the atoms that they have accumulated. You can create a leaderboard of just one class or you can combine and build a leaderboard with learners from different classes. Teachers can use leaderboards to spark competition and give incentives to the learners.

1. To build your own class leaderboards

  • Log on to your Teacher account.
  • Click on the Leaderboards ** on the **class or grade that you are linked to.

  • Select time frames of the leaderboard

  • Scroll down to see **learner leaderboards **

2. To build a combined leaderboard for multiple classes

  • Click on **Leaderboard **on the menu navigation
  • Click on ** Build my own leaderboard **

  • Select classes that you want to be part of the leaderboard.
  • Click on ** Combine all selected classes on one leaderboard **.
  • Click on ** Create **

  • Select time frames of the leaderboard

  • Scroll down to the class leaderboards. The leaderboard is ranked according to the number of atoms accumulated by default. This is because atoms are the points that learners accumulate as they get answers correct. You can change to rank by the number of exercises/questions completed, by clicking on Exercises.

  • Scroll down to see **learner leaderboards **
  • NB: The leaderboards can be downloaded as a ** screenshot ** or ** CSV **.
