Siyavula's generative Past Papers for Exam Preparation

Past paper practice is very critical for exam preparation of Mathematics and Physical Sciences. But using the traditional method of answering a physical paper have limitations. Siyavula's past papers are powerful because they have generative questions. This allows students to practise the concepts addressed by the question an unlimited number of times until they have mastered it. The questions are self-marking and can handle the input and marking of fractions, formulae, set notation, chemical equations, spectroscopic notation and more - all instantly.

Tip: Teachers can open this on their own dashboards, and project on the screen to demonstrate how learners can complete it. Or verbally request the learners to the same on their own dashboards.

Learners can click the Past paper quick link from the home page or click on Past Papers from the menu panel.

Teachers can assign the past paper practice in three ways:

1. Verbally assign practice by Past Paper

Tip: Learners can get to have a digital version of the exam experience - going through each question as outlined in an actual exam. This is suitable for engaging class discussion.

Select the paper that you would like to complete

Choose Select all questions to practise the paper from start to finish. You can also choose specific questions to practise.

Each question has an indication of the marks allocation
For each question learners can try multiple versions of the question by clicking Try exercise like this again
Clicking Go to Next exercise will lead to another question which will fall under question 1 of the exam paper.

2. Verbally assign practice of exam questions by topic

Tip: After teaching a particular topic in class, teachers can verbally direct learners to practice exam questions

3. Assign Past Paper Practice using Curated Assignments
