How to give learners questions to practise in class
How to find a question in the question bank
You can use Siyavula's questions in class if you want your learners to practise a concept you're teaching. To find the question you want them to try, click on:
Set work on the menu on the left, and then Browse questions
Choose to look at the Mathematics or Physical Sciences questions
You can view questions by grade and topic, and filter by Examining Body, difficulty level and language.
To the right of each question in the question bank is a unique four-digit number. Once you have chosen the question/s you'd like your learners to try in class, jot down the number associated with those questions.
How to give learners questions to practise in class
Tell learners to bring out their phones or tablets, and to log in to Siyavula.
On each learner's home page is a Jump to content box.

Give your learners the number of the question you want them to try. Once they enter the four-digit number into the Jump to content box, they will be taken to that question.
Once your learners have had enough time to do the question, work through the solution with them.
How to check how they did
You can check how learners did on the question by checking the Topic Performance report on your teacher dashboard.
