Learner certificate of achievement
As a learner, you can use your certificate of achievement to view how well you understand the content in your current grade.
You can also use it to apply for further learning opportunities after school, available through our MyFuture partners.
To view these opportunities, simply log in at https://siyavula.com and select Menu or your name at the top right-hand corner of your Learner Homepage. Select MyFuture from the list of options shown.
How to view the certificate:
Log into your account and click Menu or your name at the top right-hand corner of your Learner Homepage. Select My Certificate from the list to view your certificate.
What can you see on the certificate:
The learner certificate displays the following information:
Mastery badge: This shows the percentage of your grade mastery, based on the total section stars earned divided by the total section stars available in the grade. It matches the mastery based on sections at the top of your Learner Dashboard as well as the percentage you see on the National Leaderboard.
Your current grade, the subject you have done work in, and the current year
Topics and mastery percentages: The topics are how the chapters in your grade are grouped, depending on the subject.
In Maths, they're usually referred to as "content areas" and in Science "knowledge strands"
These are the big areas that make up each exam paper for a given subject
The percentages are the average masteries for each topic, based on all the chapters and sections that make up each topic.
Your personal details:
Siyavula ID - A unique marker that you can use to log into your account or identify your account
Sign-up date - the date that you signed up to Siyavula on
School - the school that you chose when you signed up
Certificate date - the date that you're choosing to download the certificate on
Public link - a link that you can share with others so that they can download your certificate
How to download the certificate:
Click Menu and choose My Certificate from the list of options.
Click on the grey Download button at the top right of the page to get a copy of your certificate in PDF format.
How to share your certificate:
Click Menu and choose My Certificate from the list of options.
Click on the grey Share button at the top right of the page to get the shareable link for the certificate
Make sure to tick the checkbox next to Make my report public and then click the blue Save button
You will now be able to copy the link to the certificate so that you can share it. Just click the clipboard icon next to the link.
Now click the Save button again.
You will now see a green message box at the top of the page confirming that your certificate has been made public and that you can give others access to view it by sharing the link.
To go back to your certificate, click Return to My Certificate
