How to link, unlink and transfer learners to a class

Log in to your teacher account

While on the home page, identify the desired class

Click on the Admin button on the bottom right corner of the class.



On the drop down menu select Manage Class

How to link learners to a class

Once you have landed on the Manage Class page, scroll down to the learners’ list and click on Link Learner.



You can link a learner who already has an account by:

Siyavula ID - found on the learner’s profile page
Email address - associated with the learner’s profile
Mobile number - associated with the learner’s profile
Searching them from the school list

If you are linking a learner using Siyavula ID, Email or Mobile number, you have to:

Select the option for example Mobile Number
Type in the Mobile Number
Click on Link learner




Then click on confirm

If you are linking learners by searching for them on the School list
Click on School list
Search for the name of the learner and tick the box (you can select
multiple learners from the school list and link them at the same time).
Click on Link Learner

How to unlink learners from the class

Once you have landed on the Manage Class page, scroll down to the learners’ list
Search the learner’s name from the search box
Tick the box to select the learner (you can select multiple learners
and unlink them at the same time)
Click on unlink learners and confirm.

How to transfer learners to another class

Search for the name of the learner you wish to transfer to another class.
Tick the box to select the learner. (you can select multiple learners and transfer them at the same time)
Click on Transfer



Select the class you wish to transfer the learner to from the transfer drop down menu and confirm.

Please note: Learners can also get linked in Your Classes, by redeeming an access code. Registered learners at your school automatically get linked to the grade when they select a correct grade and school name on their profile.
